Living room/kitchen is actually prety spacious at the Westin's very largest units.

Late arrival at Mammoth = packaged ramen time.

65" TV seems bigger than the other units, too?

Sushi Tsujita with the original Sushi Tsujita addicts, the Chen-Lu family. Hokkaido kaisen premium is delicious, although the Kaisendon premium is still better. And the nigiri, while normally equally good, seemed a smidgen behind their A-game. Sunright Tea Studio is a definite step above most of the other milk tea on Sawtelle as well, although I'll be the first to admit I go to Volcano for the nostalgia and not the quality.

Then a few quick snaps from the drive up to Mammoth, including some unusually good sun rays as the day waned. And it turns out the penthouse suites at the Westin Monache are well worth the small upcharge over the regular 2 bedroom suites-- the hard part is booking one, as there's only two available via the Westin in the whole hotel. (and a third via AirBnB, so only 3 units total.)
