Breakfast here is surprisingly decent for grab-and-go.

Croissant may not look like much, but 2 eggs and bacon!

Apparently small boys are obsessed with garbage trucks.

More days of Westin breakfast for the Chen-Wu family, and even better as far as Lucas was concerned, two days of watching garbage trucks every morning!

Zeus was less impressed, but he did whine a little less than he did the day before. And Mike found there was enough snow to have Lan Lan drive Zeus out to the start of the ski back trail, then we could tire Zeus out by having him run after us back to the village. Not the fastest or most skillful way to ski, but fun to see Zeus charging after us at full speed down the hill!

Packed up and headed home afterwards. Too full from breakfast and the last of the prime rib to eat a proper lunch or dinner, which enabled good time back home. Even spotted an unknown manufacturer's (GM?) new compact SUV testing on the highway in Palmdale, and enjoyed a surprisingly colorful sunset down CA-14 into Los Angeles before the day was over.
