Tahiti: January 2021
Stopped off a bit early at LAX to wander over to Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). Turns out, as sad as American or United or whatnot are, TBIT is even worse. Complete ghost town, very depressing.
The walk back to Terminal 7 merely confirmed that almost nothing was open, and it was barely past 6pm... so yet-another-sandwich-in-a-box at the airport? Weeee?
Due to schedule shuffling, had an unnecessary overnight layover at SFO. Could have been avoided had I paid closer attention to the fact that United actually restored some flights, but oh well-- The Westin San Francisco Airport was very affordable due to low demand, and had a decent enough view of the airport to satisify airplane geeks. The last remodel job wasn't too bad either, although the hotel clearly is an older property.
