SF Bay Area
Quite unplanned, the last day before the new safer-at-home order took place, decided to make sure the last sunrise was a good one.
Throw a little luck in with the planning, too. The famous Golden Gate Bridge, as viewed from the northern vista point, provided the morning's highlights. As it is only accessible if heading northbound, I stopped there first, and was glad I did, because the second stop, Marin Headlands National Park, was devoid of colorful rays due to the fog.
Just barely managed to squeeze in a visit with the Lai-Lu family scan hours before the 10pm safer-at-home deadline. Picked up Boba Guys for everyone, while Pearl provided the McDonald's McRib and Chicken McNuggets for the construction of the McRuggets. For extra safety, most of the family stayed inside, while we dined outside. t'was still able to catch a photo of Pearl and Mason (aka mother and son) hamming it up for the camera before I left!
Wrapped up the trip with one last decent photo opportunity of downtown Los Angeles out the window on final approach to LAX. Not a bad way to end the weekend, and to the safety of staying home.
