Montana: September 2020
Choosing to sleep in might have been a mistake-- due to the holiday weekend and due to all the Americans focusing on domestic travel due to COVID-19, Glacier National Park was so full they had closed to new guests by the time I got there. ;_; U-turned back down the road and got some huckleberry pie instead, then drove down to Flathead Lake, where it was made very clear that I was part of the half of the country that was unwelcome here.
Dinner at one of two pho places in Kalispell. Not the greatest pho, but it was quite affordable, decent enough, and they observed proper COVID-19 safety. Was good to see they had a steady stream of business, too.
