Green beans were okay, shortrib noodle was quite good-- although spicing was mostly soy sauce.

Green onion pancake was surprisingly good.

Xiao long bao weren't much but were surprisingly high quality.

Cold cucumber was quite solid, if a little bland.

Bean curd was alright. No complaints but no real praise?

Back to Sawtelle for the brand-new Dan Modern Chinese Cuisine. Last day of their soft opening, I think it was... Food was surprisingly good, although don't dig too closely: the main seasoning in the otherwise-tasty shortrib noodle was definitely soy sauce. Xiao long bao were quite delicious, not quite Din Tai Fung level but close, although dine-in is going to be required to give an more accurate evaluation.
