World of Coca-Cola's last day open before they closed because of the coronavirus pandemic. It's both a surprisingly modest experience, and yet an obvious/ridiculous tribute to the marketing genius that is Coca-Cola. Being able to try so many of the flavors available world-wide was definitely cool, tho. One area they skimmed over was their distribution network; seeing more on that would have been fascinating. Alas, no such luck.
As a temple to American branding and consumerism it's probably worth a stop if you've never been, but honestly the Georgia Aquarium next door looked much more impressive-- sadly the aquarium will have to wait until next time.
An excellent fried chicken lunch at South City Kitchen with Dr. Kim followed. t'was great to see James again-- and it looks like fatherhood is treating him well!
Then a pair of uneventful flights back. All the complimentary upgrades went through, although the ***hole sitting next to me on the last flight needs to learn to act like a civilized human being. UGH.
