Nom'ing away on Vietnamese food, including their famous spring rolls, at Brodard Chateau with the Lu-Lai families. Forgot just how intense the flavors are for the dishes other than the spring rolls-- all very good, but definitely could have used some more rice to help tone things down.
Stopped by Roasting Water afterwards for a fruit smoothie. Tasty but unless you're into their plant/greenhouse-style decor and the collectible bottles, it's a tough sell in a crowded market.
