Fooding
First day of ramen at one of the cafeterias. The broth smelled and tasted... well, being generous, it was passable. The pork looked gross but was edible. The noodles, tho, tasted like play-doh. Eeeeek.
Had a proper meal a little later at Sichuan Impression. Dumplings were a bit meh, but considering how bad most Chinese food is on the westside, it was good enough. The handcut noodle soup was pretty solid, and the toothpick lamb was pretty tasty. Wrapped it up with tea at Redstraw at Century City Mall. Fresh-brewed meant every cup is kind of slow, but it was a tasty drink. And considering the location, the price wasn't too horrible.
Oh yes, there was a brief visit from the Chen-Wu family in there somewhere as well.
