Ho Kee Cafe
Reasonably priced, slighty out of the way cafe that's been packed lately. Not sure if it's due to mainstream media like Eater or due to social media, but their rather cramped parking lot and off-the-beaten-path location meant skipping them before.
Doing a late breakfast/brunch there lets you beat most of the crowd, tho. The har cheung tries to be delicate but ends up more towards average, but that's okay-- the roast duck and preserved veggie noodle is superb! It's a generous portion where the first few bites seem ordinary, but the more you get into the flavors, the better it tastes.
Did a stop by Half and Half for milk tea after (yum as always), then brought it back to board games, where Wingspan remains a very good and very interesting game for the group. The limited number of actions, particularly in the third and final (fourth) rounds makes it quite a challenge in action/resource management.
