Tar and Roses
Geography staff dinner for Nayla's going-away celebration. Some fancy American food that left half the staff suspicious, but the rest of us enjoyed the pig tails, oxtail dumplings, and bone marrow. Pig tails were a bit of a miss, deep fried with potential, but like the oxtail dumplings, they seemed to fall short.
Main courses were more mainstream, with a ridiculously large half chicken and a flat iron steak being the highlights. Coworkers loved dessert, but it failed to make a real impression on me.
