The artwork for Wingspan is still worth admiring every time you open the box, and in comparison to Terraforming Mars, the number of moves you can do is quite limited. Even with a board full of birds enabling additional actions, it never reaches the mind-boggling level of possibilities that Terraforming Mars does.
Followed up Wingspan with a long-neglected session of Terraforming Mars. A little rust to shake off, missed one or two things to keep track of (happens a lot with this game!), but as usual, a ton of fun! However, even a "fast" multiplayer session of Terraforming Mars is at least two and a half hours, which makes it tough to do much else in an afternoon
Debated Northern Cafe: Teppanyaki for dinner, but Sue and Ophelia ultimately found the menu unappealing. Ended up at the original Northern Cafe location in Westwood instead, where we concluded they're starting to go downhill.
