Cousin Christian's graduation from Franklin and Marshall, but first, a quick stop at Spread Bagelry for Montreal-style bagels. Not quite sure what makes them special, although they were pretty good. I'd pass on the Carnegie sandwich the next time and stick to a regular bagel, or perhaps the regular bagel sandwich with bacon.
Made the drive out to Lancaster next, making it just in time for what would be a pretty pleasant commencement, held on the central green, beautifully shaded by several large trees. They did a straightforward ceremony for the whole college, and managed to get all the graduates and speeches through in 2 hours. We skipped the underwhelming the reception afterwards and instead went back to Aunt Pattey's place to pick up hoagies to tide us over until dinner (yum).
Chuck's graduation dinner was seemingly at a fast casual pizza place called Paola's Cucina... although it turns out Aunt Pattey and Andy reserved the private room in the back for a full on, three hour mystery meal. NOMNOMNOMONOM!!! Chef Paola even came out after the main course to round of applause as she brought out dessert-- clearly they love the food!
