Mike went all out, down the chutes off Lincoln Mountain, while I mostly stuck to easier stuff, trying to practice those long-neglected powder-skiing skills!

A not-so-glamorous wait at Mammoth Yosemite Airport meant packaged food for lunch (when the cafeteria bothered to open); at least they have decent beer? And the flight out, while partially obscured by clouds, was beautiful. On flights heading north into MMH, definitely sit on the port side (left side) of the airplane... while on flights departing back to LAX/SAN, sit on the starboard side (right side) for a more grand view of the Sierra Nevada overall, or sit on the port side again if you want a closer view of the mountains on takeoff.
