Lunch at McCoy Station. It was... edible.

Cold wind rocks the chairlifts. Aka shivering up Unbound.

Everything else at Mill was closed, everyone had to hike up to Chair 21.

Snowing even more!

Did not expect quite this much snow in town!

What we thought was going to be light snow turned into rain in town, snow at the base, and a friggin' whiteout that started well below McCoy Station, High Five Express, and the tops of Lincoln Mountain. Some great snow down Lower Dry Creek and a few other runs made up for a lot of it, but by lunchtime conditions had deteroriated to the point that we were starting to measure visibility in single digit feet. It made for a bit of an adventure getting from the top of Stump Alley to McCoy Station.

Fortunately we didn't lose anyone, and were able to catch up with Mike and Lucas for lunch at McCoy. Cafeteria food is pretty terrible as always, but it was nice to be inside, watching conditions go from mildy unpleasant to holy-crap-that's-bad from the comfort of the mid-mountain lodge rather than being outside!

Managed to ski the rest of the day despite terrible conditions. Got so bad that most of the lifts at Mill Cafe (Stump Alley and Gold Rush) closed, and we had to hike up to Chair 21 to get our butts back to Canyon. At least Lan Lan and Mike switched off on childcare after lunch, so Mike was able to get a few runs in up and down Chair 8 to finish off the day!
