Hong Kong: March 2019
Same routing as always to Hong Kong, only this time, a not-quite-last-minute aircraft swap foiled the ride in premium economy (Premium Plus), as the replacement aircraft only had business (Polaris) and economy. Got to keep my bulkhead seat at least? Although just for good measure, a standby passenger with a ginormous bag filled the middle seat and kept it on the floor the entire flight, which meant for a cramped ride across the Pacific. Ugh...
At least it was a smooth flight.
Did modestly better on arrival than the last trip... made it to Peking Garden inside Pacific Place Mall before starvation took over. Green beans were kind of old and the dan dan mein just average, but the price was affordable enough considering it was a "nice" restaurant, and it definitely wasn't worth going out into muggy weather in search of something better so late at night.
