Hong Kong: February 2019
First mileage run of the year, this time to Hong Kong. Long day inside airplanes to get there, but at least United's new premium economy product (Premium Plus) isn't a bad way to do it, especially when it's (temporarily) available for the price of regular economy.
Add in the usual visiting friends I hadn't seen in ages for tasty noms like souffle pancakes and hot pot, a stop by Duck Shing Ho for egg rolls (biscuit rolls), and it was a fun, if quick, trip!
Days 1 and 2 - 15 plus hours in United's new Premium Plus (premium economy) to Hong Kong, then a late-night food fail upon arrival.
Day 3 - Eating the whole day, starting with dim sum, then souffle pancakes, then hot pot for dinner, and ending with cheese foam milk tea for dessert!
Day 4 - starting the morning at Duck Shing Ho, then hauling my butt to the airport and the long flight home. Plus stops at the United Polaris Lounges at both SFO and LAX.
