Continuing New York fooding with more college friends-- hi Pearl! Buvette's superb lobster a l'Americaine (lobster pot pie) was expected to be the highlight of the night, or maybe the cassoulet (duck), but in reality it was the tartiflette (potato + cheese) that stole the show.
Caught a pizza a few hours before at NY Pizza Suprema, which was good but not as memorable as the hype expected.
Wandered more of the village between meals, ended up at Blue Ribbon Sushi again. While the seasonal items are delicious, the regular sushi deluxe platter and the other items off the normal menu. There might have been some other eating involved too as we wandered Manhattan-- and a stop at The Uncommons, a pretty awesome board game cafe!
