Singapore: October 2017
After a long flight and an even longer day in Singapore, t'was time to head home. "Only" 15 hours or so, plus a few hours beforehand in the airport and at breakfast.
The hotel did a surprisingly nice breakfast, took a quick cab ride to the airport-- much faster than the MRT-- and then finally made a visit to a Ya Kun Kaya Toast before I left. Not sure what the big deal with this chain is, it was pretty awful, or at least the airport location is? (kaya toast at Toast Box on previous trips has been better?)
Then back into the airplane for the SIN-LAX return. Again, surprisingly good service by the flight crew, although the fact that the flight was mostly empty might have been a factor? Pretty edible food by economy class standards as well, at least if you like noodles...
