Omakase at Sushi Tsujita is delicious and a little ridiculous. Smoked bluefin tuna belly is artfully presented, while the duck udon and the sweet corn croquette were unexpected surprises. Miyazaki waygu A5 may not be the craziest out there, but it's still so rich and flavorful it's... well, there's a reason why the portions are so small-- less you keel over from a heart attack!
The sushi is equally good, with the house smoked cherry salmon (sakura masu) and the Spanish mackerel (aji) being particular standouts, above and beyond what you'd already expect from a place of such quality. The tamago is also very sweet, almost cake-like, and of course, expected excellent items such as the live sweet shrimp (botan ebi) and bluefin tuna belly (otoro) met expectation.
They strongly encourage reservations and as long as you realize it's not just sushi as the name implies, it's both innovative and excellent.
