Time to nom on cruffins! Essentially a filled croissant in oversized cupcake form... friggin' delicious if you need a sweet and buttery blast.

The cornflake cookie is excellent too, unfortunately I can't make quite as fair a comparison as to the churro croissant or the chocolate croissant as I didn't get to them until a day later. They were still good but not nearly as amazing as the croissants later in the day from Proof Bakery.

The line for cruffins wasn't that bad this morning; apparently some mornings it's wrapped around the block (!), but this morning the line was short enough that you could show up an hour after they opened (which is when cruffins go on sale) and still get your cruffins. Showing up before 7:30am this morning (30 minute before they opened) was unnecessary, but considering the risk of showing up and not getting cruffins... uhh... well let's just say some out there understand the insanity. *grins*

Additional croissants at Proof Bakery followed. As Tiff said, perhaps the best croissants in all of Los Angeles. Flakey, tasty, delicious mess. The almond was good but Tiff inhaled the chocolate. YUM!
