Saigon: April 2016
Couple of days in Saigon to relax and explore. Didn't properly explore as much as I'd like, but that was okay, considering it was an opportunity to take a relaxing vacation for once!
Lovely layover in Japan on the way back, perfectly timed for a sushi breakfast at Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo!
Day 1 - Start of what would be a very long two days of flying thanks to time zone changes, via SFO and HKG.
Day 2 - Very familiar United 737-800 configuration (one of United's special Guam-configured aircraft) to Saigon.
Day 3 - Saigon via the waterfront and downtown.
Day 4 - Downtown Saigon including the War Remnants Museum and Reunificiation Palace.
Day 5 - Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Square 1, and street food before heading to the airport.
Day 6 - Return via Tokyo, including a stop at Tsukiji Fish Market.
