Had a craving for teriyaki and tempura...

Contemporary enough for a buffet.

Buffet selection was actually quite decent.

Lots of sushi. Just ignore the fact that half of it is gussied-up California rolls.

Rice was crap but that's standard for a buffet. At least it looked pretty.

Pretty decent Japanese seafood and sushi buffet in Torrance. Sushi rice is typical crappy sushi buffet rice, but they had pretty decent cuts of tako (octopus) and several other items. Tempura wasn't bad either. Some cheap but edible galbi was at the other end of the buffet, too. And crab legs and cocktail shrimp.

Main issues? Dessert section was a bit skimpy, overall the selection is only average (a pretty tasty average tho), and holy crap the price is not cheap. It's not horribad considering what you get, but it's pricey enough that I don't think I'd come back.
