Tempura. Decent but very forgettable.

Order/pickup layout is poor.

Nikki bukakke udon. Again, quite forgettable.

Fried calamari. A lot of... tomatoes and stuff.

Tsukumen is okay. Not as good as Tsujita, but it's perfectly decent.

Sonia's birthday at XLanes in Japantown. Lots of socializing and a little bit of bowling to go with it. Carley, Sonho, and Baby Ella made it out, as did Grace, Kevin, and Baby Teddy!

Decidedly average food at Tsurumaru Udon Honpo beforehad-- wouldn't have been quite so disappointing if the kitchen wasn't so slow there, but alas...

More RoboRally afterwards, staying inside and out of the heat. Late late dinner at Daikokuya on Sawtelle (apparently post-power outage!) as well, complete with lots of others waiting in the heat for some late night ramen! Deep summer weather in October, fun times!
