Tons of Korean-run trendy American-ish places in Koreantown these days. Haus by Coffee Hunter is one of them in a little half block with a few of 'em (no, I don't know who Coffee Hunter is).
Coffee is done through an impressive vintage-looking set of copper and glass equipment brought to your table, including an elaborate looking vacuum coffee press in stark contrast to the modern decor. Coffee variety is pretty good and while the Guatemala "Antigua" coffee wasn't as smooth as what we'd actually had in Guatemala, it was pretty damned good (considering the price, it better be!).
Kimchi fried rice was pretty good, Ophelia wasn't as impressed with the french toast-- it wasn't bad but it wasn't particularly memorable either. Regardless, t'was fun to see Dan and Carolina twice in a weekend!
