Memorial to Carol B. Wang, 21 December 1947 - 9 January 2015, at Crist Morturary in Boulder, CO. Internment at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder, CO. Survived by husband, Scott Wang; son, Eric; daughter, Heather; and son-in-law Chad.
Nice, simple, heartfelt ceremony to Aunt Carol, and was good to see the Wang family for the first time in a long time-- especially good to meet Heather's husband Chad for the first time. I just wish it was under more pleasant circumstances.
Went to downtown Boulder after, the Pearl Street Mall, then a quick, rainy, steep hike up into the Flatirons after. Dinner at a truly awful Chinese place called Lao Wang Noodle House that Thrillist claims is one of the best Chinese places in Denver (it's even on their bucket list!). Beautiful as the Flatirons are, dinner was the opposite-- truly terrible. If you don't feel like some of Denver's excellent American or Mexican food, or the plethora of Vietnamese restaurants in the area, honestly, go to McDonald's instead for a vastly superior meal than what we had.
