Washington, D.C.
Pizza from Vace down the street-- very Italian, not sure if it was quite my thing.
Popped on the Metro down to American University with the other side of the family for Cousin Matt's graduation. As most graduations are, it was a very long (2.5 hours)!, mind-numbing affair, but it did have some unusually good speakers if you were into politics and international relations. I am sad to say they were definitely better than UCLA's commencement speakers...
Matt's graduation dinner was at Bistrot du Coin, where we dined on a vast amount of mussels (mussels in lobster bisque is absurd as it sounds!), stew, breads, mushrooms, escargot, and other nom-worthy things. Quite good.
Then back to the hotel to socialize a bit more before calling it a night-- t'was good to see all the family who made it, from Aunt Pattey and Andy, Matt's little brother Christian, Aunt Judy and Uncle Will, plus of course it was good to meet Rebekah and her family!
