OK Go
Down to the OC Fair for the OC Marathon Expo. Nice to see Kool-n-Fit there, plus the KT Tape booth was bloody packed. Hoka had a nice little sale on a few models, too.
Dinner at MaDang 621 in k-town before the night's OK Go concert at The Wiltern. A little expensive, but pretty good-- Kristina had the cabbage and beef soup, there was a fairly interesting spread of ban chan, and the bibim neng myum was pretty tasty. I freely admit I'm not that familiar with bibim neng myum so maybe it was just okay, I wouldn't know!
OK Go had a so-so opening act whose name I forget, then they didn't come on stage til 9:30pm! Yeesh. They did a pretty good job though, although as a band best known for outrageous music videos, they don't exactly translate well to a live stage.
They do try, and they mostly (modestly) succeed. Fair bit of audience engagement, which fits their personalities. And for the finale they did dress up at bit like in their videos and go a little crazy, which was pretty awesome.
