Star Wars Celebration
Day 3 of Star Wars: Celebration in Anaheim. Didn't get to The Force Awakens exhibit or any of the sessions, but managed to see most of the general exhibits and whatnot.
Star Wars themed cars (many were very familiar-- frequent sights at other Star Wars gatherings), tons of cosplayers including numerous members from the 501st Legion, and lots of very high quality movie items and props.
Throw in plenty of art projects such as the R2-ME display, an impressive AT-AT, a large LEGO exhibit, and other major supporters with gigantic Darth Vaders, a Furbacca, and of course, the (very crowded) Star Wars: Battlefront demo. Heading outside a few hours later lead to some more sightings, including more cosplay mash-ups such as a Stormtrooper/Harry Potter, a half-cyborg Darth Maul, and apparently a large group of Playboy bunny-Star Wars characters.
Top things off with an army of food trucks outside-- Mustache Mike's was Jen and Tommy's favorite stop for Italian ice, and Barcelona on the Go for some very good french fries/tops sirloin/chimmichuri sauce.
Finally, dinner at Morton's around the corner, for some very good steak, Brussels sprouts, and a dinner execution of hash browns that was surprisingly good (and large!). And after dinner-- a DJ set complete with lightsaber-holding fans!
