Taipei: January 2015
Foodamental's recent article on a Weekend in Taipei was the obvious inspiration for this trip.
They did things a little different-- their young bodies can still handle late night clubbing and early morning hiking-- plus they obviously knew Taipei, whereas this was my first time. So I more or less faked it, settling for some classic tourist items as well as a bunch of just getting familiar bits.
Weekend in Taipei is definitely a little intense, but that's all part of the territory!
Day 0 - Heading to Taipei via LAX-SFO-TPE and a trusty old Boeing 777.
Day 1 - Arrival in Taipei and Shilin Night Market.
Day 2 - Exploring Taipei. Taipei 101, the original Din Tai Fung, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial, and a lot of walking. Plus Ning Xia Night Market.
Day 3 - Wrapping up a weekend in Taipei by returning to the USA.
