Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving dinner. Full of family and food, of course! Turkey, yams, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, plus some Chinese things like curry pies... yum!
15lb turkey, not quite a dozen of us made the white meat vanish instantly, and the dark meat didn't last much longer! Amazingly juicy turkey breast too, cooked it just right this time!
Braved the Thanksgiving Day (not even Black Friday) shopping, too. As horrible as it is to be open Thanksgiving Day-- and it's downright awful-- shops are at least open at a reasonable hour, and in some ways it seems easier than Black Friday and the 5am open times. Of course, then there's the shops who basically stayed open from 6pm Thursday through 9pm Friday, that is ridiculous. o_0
Lines at Valley Fair were crazy in some stores, not too bad in others. Nordstrom looked like it'd been hit by a tornado, Super Dry and Zara had obscenely long lines just to get in, and the checkout line for H&M was brutal. The food court appeared to be doing brisk business for all the late-night shoppers, too. And to my surprise, there's a Coffee Bean there now!
