Singapore and Hong Kong
Eating all of the delicious noms in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Well, maybe not all of them in such a short trip and with limited stomach space, but close enough? That and sweating in the 88 degrees F/88% humidity weather in both places all day. Sadly we couldn't quite schedule the trip around the Singapore Grand Prix...
Day 1 - shiny new Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Narita!
Day 2 - Long enough layover in Narita, Tokyo for some sushi, then off to Singapore.
Day 3 - first day in Singapore. Hawker stalls to begin the eating!
Day 4 - More eating, including Old Airport Road and some Katong Laska.
Day 5 - Sentosa Island for the rides and Rides World, and Jumbo Seafood.
Day 6 - Little India, Chinatown, and steamboat (what we know as hot pot).
Day 7 - off to Hong Kong to Hong Kong Polytechnic University, then wandering from Mong Kok to Lan Kwai Fong.
Day 8 - Hong Kong Island and Tsim Sha Tsui for lunch, dessert, coffee, dinner...
Day 9 - Tim Ho Wan for Michelin Star dim sum (!) and then more eating and eating through the streets of Mong Kok.
Day 10 - Return via a creaky old 747 and far too little sleep.
