More celebrating
Gottsui for lunch! Big traffic accident delayed things a bit, plus the apparent-lack-of-research on finding suitable menu items at local restaurants... oops. But in the end, the grilled edamame was good, the kara age was tasty (if a bit too large), and both the udon and okonomiyaki were quite decent-- the pan fried udon in particular was pretty good. Drinks looked tasty as well-- they had quite a few of 'em! Gottsui's Alhambra location is a bit cute with a more relaxed feel than the Sawtelle location, and the company was good as always!
Wandered back to SGV for dinner, this time at Sinbala for Taiwanese beef noodle soup, dumplings, won tons, omelets, and all kinds of tasty things. For another casual meal, quite delicious. Had another birthday cake too, this time celebrating June's birthday. Happy birthday, June!
