Mara's Birthday

Buca di Beppo for Mara's birthday. Big group came-- Freddie and his kids even graced us with their presence! Ate ourselves silly as usual, with the chicken marsala and the proscuitto-stuffed chicken both being unusually good. Caprese was the one merely decent item, but for a place known for massive portions rather than for its delicate tastes, that was all well and good-- by the time the pizza and pastas arrived a few minutes later, we were all happily stuffed!

Max Karaoke afterwards for the first karaoke trip in a very long time. We were all rusty and it showed, but a few songs in and it was back to old form! Sadly for some of us (umm no comment), old form is and was pretty awful. I'm surprised Lorde and Taylor Swift didn't try to lynch us for the awful singing! (or at least me...).

As a surprise, got a double birthday when we ran into Brandis' birthday also at Max Karaoke! Happy birthday to both Mara and Brandis!
