UCLA vs. Arizona State
Made it to the UCLA Civil Engineering tailgate (thanks for coordinating, Tara!) before the game to catch Tara, Eugene, Heather, Justin, BEJ, Cari, and a few others. Then watched a solid comeback by UCLA in the second half, complete with some amazing kick returns by Ishmael Adams, only to watch UCLA fail to execute in the red zone. The crowd wanted this victory, only to be disappointed in the end.
So sad. :-(
Had to warm up afterwards, so hit Pho 87 for dinner before meeting up with the rest of the group. Broke out Cards Aganist Humanity's brand new Fourth Expansion with Nik and Amy (and baby Kai!) in town, with new gems such as I am become ____, destroyer of ____. and Three seconds of consecutive happiness.
Not quite sure how the Cards Against Humanity people keep doing it, but they manage to sustain their brilliance after six expansions, which is damned impressive!
