The old Gardens on Glendon became Skylight Gardens. No idea if the food was the same as I'd never made it to the old place, but this new one wasn't bad. The name comes from the enclosed courtyard with a glass roof, which was rather neat, plus they had some large rooms connected which meant the restaurant/bar could actually hold quite a few people.
Food was okay. Seafood risotto wasn't bad, bruschette was on the heavier side, and the calmari, while good, was not terribly remarkable. Still it was a good time, and the server was an interesting guy, even if he did screw our orders up.
Late night dinner at Pho Show. The pho there is edible by westside standards, but the bun-- grilled pork in this case-- was actually pretty decent. It lacked the springy freshness of the real places, but it wasn't bad at all.
