Friday night dinner at Curry House. Entirely average curry for the most part ('cept the seafood, which is always awful 'cause they cook the seafood separately before adding it to the curry), but always good to hang out!
Nom'ed at Blaze Pizza the next day for a late lunch. Kind of like 800 Degrees in Westwood, only cheaper and not as tasty. But they let you go wild on toppings for no extra charge and it's substantially cheaper, which is a pretty win-win combination for pizza that's still decent. Be aware that the five-stars I think it is is entirely due to its combination of taste and price... if the prices go up more than a buck or so (once they realize they can't stay in business at $7.45 a pie) then the value won't be there...
Frances' moving-away party followed the late lunch. She prepared a smorgasboard of appetizers for everyone, topped off with wine and beer. Her friends then contributed even more tasty things-- beef curry turnovers, more wine, and someone even brought Porto's! Lots of fun times to be had, and quite good to see a few friends not seem in a long time, like Jennifer!
