Sea Harbour
Dim sum at Sea Harbour. They used to be one of the better places a few years ago, but somewhere along the line they lost that little bit of awesomeness that separated them from the rest. Even the last visit gave largely the same impression: high quality but lacking in awesomeness.
Their menu is reasonably comprehensive but misses a few things (such as the deep fried shrimp paste ball on a sugar cane stick), and fundamentals like har gow, har cheung fun, and beef ball, while high quality, lack a tiny bit of something that makes you go "MMMMMMMM!!"
Parking lot is a bit tight (to be fair, restaurant isn't very big either), but service is pretty good and the decor is pretty decent. They also lack carts like most of the nicer places, if that matters to you. For the cost we'll go elsewhere.
The usual visit to Half and Half after, where we found the rain had driven away much of the crowds (hooray!). Dinner many hours later was at Souplantation, where the appearance of stuffing (Thanksgiving special!) and cookies (an old item they've brought back?) sorta made the night!
