Running all over LA
Yung Ho City for Taiwanese breakfast with Tiffany, June, Cesar, and Cesar's cousins and friends. Pretty good, but I think I prefer Huge Tree-- either that or we simply didn't have enough of the menu at Yung Ho to give them a fair try! Very possibly the latter, as we went a little crazy yeow teow (Chinese fried breadstick/donut) and other carb-heavy things by accident. *grins*
Pa Pa Walk afterwards for Taiwanese shaved snow. Fresh mango, mmmmmmmmm! I didn't realize they were a full on cafe that also served food; some of the noodles and stuff actually looked like they might be worth a try. Is it better than Blockheads Shavery? It is, but it's not worth the drive unless you're already here. Is Class 302 better than Pa Pa Walk? I'd say it is-- Class 302 is damned good! Maybe it's an atmosphere thing too, who knows, but of the three, I prefer Class 302. I'm just too lazy to drive alllllll the way to Class 302 most days!
Dodgers slaughtered the Mets next at Dodger Stadium on Hello Kitty bobblehead day. Sonho and Carley had a big group-- add in Kristina, Mara, Carley, Matt, Michelle, Grace... did I miss anyone else? The game was also much better than the last game we watched.
Simply Pho You for pho afterwards. Same experience as last time, mediocre pho, but with added bad meatball. Doh! I think next time I'm sticking with Pho 87 (right by Dodger Stadium) or some of the other $5.99 pho places in k-town...
