UCLA Geography's annual Denis Cosgrove von Humboldt Football tournament, 2012 edition.
Day two's matches were Nitrogen Ninjas vs. Winged Buffalo Solders, 0-1; and Soca Warriors vs. GOALdar 1-5 in the semi-finals. The final match was Winged Buffalo Solders vs. GOALdar, 0-2. Champions, GOALdar!!
As usual, the level of playing skill is surprisingly high! Clearly at least some of the grad students play on the side! The usual post-tournament party at Barney's Beanery afterwards, then I had to run to Bethany's going-away party with SSC... (where I managed to make it in time to spectate at the poker tournament!)
