CicLAvia
Los Angeles' fourth CicLAvia, where they close 10 miles of central Los Angeles roads for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
In reality there's so many bicycles that pedestrians get crowded out, but add in a few sights like the LA river bridge crossing downtown and a plethora of food trucks, and it's a different experience than the usual!
Seeing the streets packed full of bicycles; Spring Street is one of the main arteries for CicLAvia and consequently, it ends up packed like the worst sort of traffic jam... but then you go through less-crowded streets down Central Ave. and 9th Ave, and it really is kind of nice. Relax, don't stress too much about it, and take in the view!
