626 Night Market
Wandering and eating all day! Lunch bite at Chick-Fil-A, dinner at the famous Smokehouse in Burbank, the first 626 Night Market, and dessert at Phoenix in Alhambra.
Chick-Fil-A was an unplanned stop driven by hunger; they've expanded considerably recently and hell, their chicken is pretty good for fast food chicken (even if their politics suck). Smokehouse was also unplanned; we had planned to eat at 626 Night Market, but the massive crowds and reports of vendors being sold out of food drove us to a plan B.
Since Smokehouse is famous for all the Hollywood deals that went on inside, and the food isn't bad (it's not great, but it's pretty good), hell, it worked. We headed to the first-ever 626 Night Market after dinner, mostly to wander the crowd (from crazy to ZOMG XOBX HUEG LOL INSANE) for an event that was probably twice or three times as successful as predicted (awesome, but lots of problems as a result!). We look forward to a second 626 Night Market, hopefully in a bigger venue!
Since night market was far too crazy, we went to Phoenx Dessert in Alhambra for dessert. We had a big group that we never did catch at night market ('cause it was waaaaaay too crazy there!), but amazingly everyone met up at Phoenix, so that was pretty awesome. Great way to end what was otherwise a mad night-- lots of friends and tasty desserts!
