M Grill
Brazilian BBQ twice in two weeks certainly wasn't the plan, but an expiring Yelp Deal prompted the visit...
Smaller and more compact than Fogo de Chao, M Grill wasn't quite as crowded as expected either (despite it being "pre" Valentines Day weekend). The salad bar is more compact but features a selection about as extensive as Fogo de Chao, and some liked it better. The plantains aren't as tasty, but the texture is better.
Much to Michelle's delight, they did have chicken hearts! I think Alicia, Matt, and I looked on in amusement as she devoured an entire skewer of them over the course of the meal. They were pretty tasty, if you like the different texture.
The meat is pretty good; some items are better, some are worse, but the filet migon with onion is delicious, as is the garlic beef. The top sirlion is worth a few bites, too. Lamb was disappointing and overcooked, but more than made up for by the roast pineapple, which is alone is almost reason to come here.
