Dinner at Outback
I suppose even chain restaurants need some love sometimes, and if you want an affordable steak, well, Outback works.
Making your own (Costco's probably the optional taste/value, although a $3.99/lb deal from Vons or Ralphs usually works too) is still a far better price, but for going out and "affordable" steak, Outback works. Their french onion soup isn't too awful either, and their salads, while plain, are pretty solid.
And we can't ever complain about the baked potato.
