New Year's Eve 2011
Welcoming in the New Year with a quick stopover at Carley's place, then the full on insanity over at Pearl and Simon's.
Kinect, Rock Band, Monopoly, a ton of Carley's home cooking (sliders, mmm!) at Carley's place. Hung out for a bit as the party got started, gave ourselves an impromptu tour (awesome bathtub!) of the place, and had a good time with everyone til the next party called. Heck, I think Kristina and Mara dragged over a second Xbox 360 for even more gaming fun...
Made it to Pearl and Simon's place about 11pm, in time to get settled and experience full on karaoke (with remote control!) on the big screen, then James' awesome end of year video, all before the champagne pour and the ball dropped (well, the text letters turned over) on the projector!
Add in lots more singing, a deep fried turkey (we only saw the remains), a very festive Simon, some mildly traumatized kitties (soooo many people in the house!), James shooting more video, and lots of fun... good times!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
