Ramen Yamadaya
What to do when it's almost 10pm, it's $@#! cold outside (at least by Los Angeles standards), and you want something hot for dinner?
Ramen, of course!
The original Ramen Yamadaya was a place we had yet to visit, so this was a good excuse. The pork katsu was only okay but it was dirt cheap at $5.99, while the ramen was just about the same as the Culver City location. I was smarter this time and got the standard tonkotsu, which isn't as strong as what I had the last time, and it was indeed even more delicious. Still a bit rich, but that's ok!
It's also holy-crap-tiny inside, so imagining the lines during busy times... wow, crazy. Fortunately Gardena and Torrance have tons of other ramen places, and some are even more tasty...
