New York 2011: Day 5: Niagara Falls
Our scouting run the night before turned into full on partying. Needless to say half of us were barely alive in the moring, so the plan to hit the Maiden of the Mist died before it even got started.
Struggled up to St. Catherine's (very close to Niagara-on-the-Lake, I didn't realize that!) for lunch and paintball. Turns out no one else in the group had played before-- I was the only one!-- but in tiny indoor arenas, it was a series of pretty intense games. As expected, some little kids kicked our butts.
We never did make it go-karting or to the wineries nearby (Inniskillin Winery was highly recommended), but instead we hauled butt back to Niagara Falls to get ready for dinner at Copocabana (Brazilian BBQ), where we gorged ourselves yet again. Like most tourist trap places, the food wasn't the best, but unlike the night before, this place was certainly more than adequate!
