Border Grill and Hae Jang Chon
The Border Grill Truck has revised their combos to more simple, more filling things, although their tacos are still just okay. Worse they're not a terribly good value-- seems like the more you order, the skinnier the filling gets in each...
Hae Jang Chon Korean BBQ for dinner with SSC-- we about ate til we exploded as usual. Beef tongue (so-so), brisket (nom), pork belly (thick is good, thin is pretty meh), tripe (honeycomb-- meh), bulgogi, marinaded galbi (mmmm!), plus the egg, the ban chan, the bean soup, and the kimchi fried rice done crispy on the grill.....
We walked to Boba Bear afterwards to work off some of the food. For Koreatown pearl tea it's pretty good, but it's definitely a few steps down from Volcano or Half and Half.
