Dim sum, Getty Villa, Duke's
Dan organized dim sum 'cause Jocelyn was visiting. Carley and I joined them at New Capital Seafood. Well more like we waited for them. *cough*
Plus side, got to eat for 45 minutes extra... and New Capital is pretty cheap and reasonably tasty, so all good!
Getty Villa afterwards with June, Virgil, and Connie. Having never been, it was kinda neat to me. It's a reasonable facsimilie of a Roman villa, with Greek influence clearly obvious throughout. The gardens, I think, are more impressive than the exhibits inside. There's even a statue they let you touch, as they acknowledge the importance of touch in art. Kinda cool.
Did a dinner composed entirely of appetizers afterwards at Duke's. The "seawater" cocktail was actually pretty good. Duke's was a zoo... so we ended up filling up on appertizers instead. Oh darn.
