Dim sum, movies, and french toast

New Capital Seafood for dim sum-- the first visit in a while. Dan decided to go, and we do love dim sum. Food was just okay, but they did some things well (shu mai, dan tat) and some things poorly (lo bac go, bell pepper fish paste). Carley and Sophia also made it out-- I don't know how Carley got up in time after staying out at Sojutown and karaoke and whatnot til 4am, but she did!

Hit Del Amo in Torrance again. Crazy lines at the AMC Del Amo 18 due to apparently automated ticket booth SNAFU's and a horde of kids probably seeing the new Justin Bieber movie or something...

Finally made a very late dinner at The Kettle, where the sweet sourdough french toast was surprisingly delicious! The regular french toast was just average, but complemented well by the eggs and ham. Not a bad a meal from a place that basically has no competition, and the added bonus that we made it in before the rush of Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach club-goers crowded the place. Woohoo.
